Details about what each room includes are listed below and prices are calculated on an hourly basis. The balance of your space’s rental fee must be paid at least two weeks prior to your event.
- The Hall on 177 Kent Street
- This space holds up to 280 people standing, or 170 seated at rectangular tables. Renting this hall costs $500 per hour. Included in the space are 8 high bar tables without tablecloths, 17 rectangular tables without tablecloths, and 10 chairs per table.
- Alcohol: Only wine and beer (no hard liquor) may be served at this venue, with a license.

III What the rental includes:
- PSC rents the halls, which include tables and chairs. Any remaining things (e.g., security, clean-up crew, DJ, etc.) are to be paid for by the renter, and the renter signs contracts with any subcontractors necessary for the implementation of the event.
- PSC reserves the right to have the sound engineer be recommended by us and will provide contacts for people who we have cooperated with thus far. You will need to discuss rates for equipment use/services with them. The sound equipment must be operated by someone recommended by us.
IV Security
- Security is required when upwards of 50 people are attending your event.
- In each of the rooms, there must be security and ID checks, and have a register of people staying in the room – as per the requirements of the fire department.
- We can recommend a security company, which you would need to discuss hourly rates with.
- You would need to hire three security guards for our large hall, and for the small hall one guard per 50 people is enough.
V Insurance
- Special Event Liability insurance is required of all renters and is due no later than two days prior to your event.
- If alcohol is served at the event your policy must include Liquor Liability coverage.
VI Following the Event
- The renter is obligated to clean the space and the pavement in front of the hall following the event.
- PSC is located between residential buildings, therefore by 11pm at the latest, no guests should be loitering outside the Hall.
- Please note, attendees of the event may not smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol on the pavement during/following the event.
